- Free voicemail is included in your magicJack purchase. To retrieve your voicemail, simply use your mouse to click the VOICEMAIL button on your magicJack softphone, or dial your own number (from any phone). At the automatated voice press the star (*) button. When prompted, enter your default password: 1234. Then follow the prompts to change your password, customize or retrieve your voicemail.
